Terri Ann Hurlbut, 37 of Columbus Junction, died suddenly, Monday, March 14, 2005 at the Washington County Hospital.

Funeral Services have been set for 10:00 A.M. Saturday, March 19, 2005 at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington with Pastor Cathy Whitlatch officiating. Burial will be in the Winfield-Scott Cemetery. Visitation will begin at Noon Friday at the Funeral Home with family present from 6-8:00 in the evening. A memorial in the name of Terri Ann Hurlbut has been established at the Funeral Home.

Terri was born December 23, 1967 in Moline, IL the daughter of Larry Dean Sr. and Janice Jean (Jackson) Heitmeier. She was united in marriage to Rodney Leroy Hurlbut June 11, 1985 in Wapello, they later divorced. Terri graduated from Columbus Community High School in 1986.

She was employed for several years as a CNA at Colonial Manor in Columbus Junction and briefly worked at Nelson Nursing Home in Fairfield. She resided in Columbus Junction most of her life. She enjoyed bingo, TV, crafts at the Hospital, playing pool and darts and was an avid Tasmanian Devil Collector.

Survivors include her two daughters Heather and Amy in Columbus Junction, her mother Janice of New London, IA, brothers, Raymond Heitmeier and wife robin of New London, Larry Heitmeier and wife Kelly of Mt. Pleasant and Mike Heitmeier of St. Petersburg, FL; two sisters, Tena Shumaker and husband Scott of Wayland, IA and Tammy Heitmeier of Gladstone, IL, along with several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father Larry, August 8, 1974.
