Shirley Ann Schadt, 60 of Mt. Pleasant, died Friday morning, October 3, 2003 at the Henry County Health Center in Mt. Pleasant.
Funeral Services have been set for 10:30 A.M. Monday, October 6, 2003 at the Beatty Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Dr. Jerry Kelly officiating. Burial will be in the Forest Home Cemetery. Visitation will begin at Noon Sunday at the Funeral Home with family present from 7-8:30 P.M. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the ARC of Henry County or Flex Services of Mt. Pleasant.
Shirley was born May 6, 1943 in Mt. Pleasant, IA the daughter of Joseph E. and Thelma M. (Sammons) Schadt. She graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in 1961.
Shirley was a life-long resident of Mt. Pleasant and was employed the last several years at Flex Services of Mt. Pleasant. She enjoyed playing cards, sewing and embroidering.
Survivors include one sister, Connie Stonehouse and husband Jim of Mt. Pleasant; niece Kristi Maxwell (Tony) and daughters, Ashley, Alissa, and Allison of Mt. Pleasant; nephew Kevin Stonehouse (Brenda) and daughters Chelsea and Courtney of Ft. Riley KS.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
