Scott David Watson, 38 of Mount Pleasant, died Thursday, February 05, 2004 as the result of an accident.
Funeral Services have been set for 2:00 P.M. Monday, February 9, 2004 at the Beatty Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Rev. Charles Tweed officiating. Burial will be at the Spencer Cemetery in Stockport, Iowa. Visitation will be from Noon till 6:00 Sunday at the Funeral Home with family present from 2-4:00 P.M. Memorials in the name of Scott David Watson have been established in his name.
Scott was born October 7, 1965 in Mt. Pleasant the son of Larry Lloyd and Judith Marlene (Long) Watson.
He was employed at the Starlite restaurant, Hy-Vee, Iris restaurant and for several years in Salida, Colorado where in worked in several restaurants as a cook. He returned to Mt. Pleasant in 1997. He enjoyed sports, auto racing his family, football, all animals, especially his horses, dogs and cats.
Survivors include his parents, Larry and wife Marlene of Crawfordsville; three children and brother Todd Watson of Fort Collins, CO.
