Lucille Arlene Schadt, 92 of Winfield formally of the Trenton area died Saturday, September, 11, 2004 at Sunrise Terrace Care Center in Winfield.
Graveside services have been set for 2:00 P.M. Monday, September 13, 2004 at the Forest Home Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant with Pastor Jeffrey Crawford of the Calvary Baptist Church officiating. Open visitation will be Monday from 9:00 A.M. till time of service at the Beatty Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. Memorials in the name of Lucille Schadt have been established to the Eden gardens at Sunrise Terrace or the Calvary Baptist Church.
Lucille was born January 24, 1912 in Washington, Iowa the daughter of Arnold Harry and Ida (Schrader) Miller. She was united in marriage to Melvin Otto Johnson June 3, 1934, he preceded her in death September 12, 1962. She later married John Schadt in December of 1964 and he preceded her in death July of 1968.
Lucille raised her family and worked for Iowa Wesleyan College, Parson College and Cargil. Lucille had been at Sunrise Terrace for the last four years. She enjoyed outdoors, fishing, gardening, flowers, and canning.
Survivors include three sons Robert Johnson and wife Phyllis of Camas, WA; Donald Johnson and wife Linda of Washougal, WA and Dale Johnson and wife Sharon of Mount Pleasant; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, three sisters, Donna Brownell, Maxine Milliman and Devee Jones and daughter Emily Evonne.
