Memorial services for Ruben J. Vasquez, 30, of Washington will be held Monday, August 31st at 6PM at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington. Pastor Linda Hendricks will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4-6PM at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established for Ruben’s children. Ruben died suddenly at his home on Thursday, August 28.
Ruben was born March 19, 1979 in Chicago, IL., the son of Ruben and Sharon Vasquez.
On April 25, 2005 he was united in marriage to Tammy Marie Orr in Washington.
Survivors include his wife, Tammy of Washington, three children, Selena, Joey and Destiny Vazquez, two step children, Maria and Carlos Zamora, all of Washington, mother, Sharon Vasquez of Indianapolis, IN., a sister, Oma Vasquez of Des Moines, father and mother in law, Bill and Sandra Orr of Washington.
Preceding Ruben in death was his father, Ruben Vasquez and a son, Kyle Vasquez.
