Ronald Dusterhoft

Memorial Service: Wednesday,July 15, 5:00 PM at Peterseim Funeral Home, Kalona Visitation 4-5PM Wednesday at Funeral Home. Ronald Martin Dusterhoft was born in Grinnell, Iowa the son of George and Norma Jean Mantz Dusterhoft. He graduated from Cedar Rapids Jefferson High School. Ron worked as a forklift operator at the AMF Harley Plant in Des Moines, Iowa for a number of years. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Iowa City Lodge and enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Survivors include his father, George Dusterhoft of Cape Coral, FL, special friend, Charlene Onnen, two brothers, Mark Dusterhoft of Cedar Rapids, and Tom and wife Ruth Dusterhoft of Olathe, KS, one sister, Julie and husband Jim Kretzschmar of Iowa City, three nephews, Chad Johnson, Britt More and Ryan Dusterhoft and one niece, Kirsten Dusterhoft. Preceding Ron in death was his mother, Norma Jean Dusterhoft. A general memorial fund has been established. The family would like to thank everyone for the many acts of kindness shown to them during this time of sudden loss.
