Rodney Goldizen, 44 of Washington, died unexpectedly at his home Wednesday, August 13, 2003.
Memorial Services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, August 16, 2003 at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington. Interment will be in the Cedar Township Cemetery in Fremont, IA at 3:00 P.M. Saturday. A Memorial in the name of Rodney Goldizen has been established.
Rodney was born August 18, 1958 in Bloomfield, Iowa the son of Ronald and Estermay (Hancock) Goldizen. He was schooled in Fremont, IA and had lived in Washington for many years.
Survivors include his mother Estermay Goldizen Herin of Washington, two brothers, Rex Goldizen and wife Angie of Fremont, IA and Mike Herin and wife Karen of Denver, CO; four sisters, Barbara DeGeest and husband Paul of Fremont, IA, Jeanne Goldizen of Washington, IA, Terry Dawson and husband Ken of Sun City West AZ and Sara Goldizen of Washington, IA and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his Father and his Stepfather.
