Peggy Blosser

A testimony of faith service for 67-year-old Peggy Ann Blosser, of Iowa City will be held Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 1:30PM at the East Union Mennonite Church in rural Kalona with Pastors Jay Miiller, Martha Yoder and Ron Grout officiating. Burial will follow at the East Union Mennonite Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, February 19 from 1-8PM at the Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona. A memorial fund of the family's choosing has been established. Peggy Blosser passed away Tuesday, Feb. 16 at Mercy Hospital, Iowa City following a brief illness. Peggy was born January 30, 1943 in Iowa City the daughter of Clifford and Marjorie (Stutzman) Yoder. She graduated from Iowa Mennonite School and attended Goshen College in Goshen, Indiana. On June 10, 1967 she was united in marriage to Harold Blosser at the East Union Mennonite Church in rural Kalona. She was employed as a neonatal nurse at the University of Iowa Hospital for a number of years. Peggy was a member of the East Union Mennonite Church and enjoyed embroidery, crocheting, baking and was a Mary Kay consultant for five years. Survivors include her husband Harold Blosser of Iowa City, one daughter, Sonya Blosser of Iowa City, two grandchildren, Nicole Blosser and Delmar Robertson, Jr, four extended grandchildren, Hurley, Krischen, Dyllan and Jazzmin Robertson and a stepmother, Ruth Ann Yoder of Kalona. Preceding Peggy in death were her parents.
