Funeral services for Norman H. Miller, 84, of Kalona will be held Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 9:30 AM at the Nathan Miller home, 2289 Johnson Washington Road, Kalona. Burial will follow at the Brenneman Cemetery in rural Kalona. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 6 from 2 – 4:30 and 6 – 8 PM, and all day Friday at the Nathan Miller home.
Norman H. Miller was born on May 1, 1940, in Kalona, IA, to Henry B. and Edna (Miller) Miller. He died on February 4, 2025, after a short illness, at the age of 84 years, 9 months and 3 days. He was baptized in the Old Order Amish Church in his youth and remained a faithful member until his death. He was united in marriage to Alma Borkholder on June 10, 1965, living in matrimony for almost 60 years. He was ordained deacon in October of 1973.
He is survived by his wife Alma, and two sons: Nathan and Eunice Miller, Kalona, IA, Nelson and Lorene Miller, Argyle, WI; 13 grandchildren: Karl, Kendall, Kevin, Kendrew, Katie, Kari, Karla, Keith, Janea, Rylan, Reagan, Daryl and Jenise; two brothers: Morris Miller and Vernon (Nina) Miller; one sister Mary Pearl (Fred) Mast; and one sister-in-law Edna (Emery) Miller.
Preceding him in death were his parents, two brothers: Emery and Chester and wife Mary; and two sisters-in-law: Mary Jane and Freda.
