Funeral services for Milton Miller, 73 of Keokuk, formerly of Kalona, will be Sunday, Dec. 16 at 2:00 pm at the Fairview Mennonite Church, rural Kalona, with Pastor Brian Hershberger officiating.  Burial will follow at the Fairview Mennonite Cemetery.   Visitation is Saturday, Dec. 15 from 4-7 pm at the Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona.  A general memorial fund has been established.  Milton Miller died Wed. Dec. 12 at the Keokuk Area Hospital following a sudden illness.

Milton Jay Miller was born October 25, 1939 in Kalona, Iowa the son of Paris L. and Lydia (Briskey) Miller.  He sold recreational vehicles for many years.  Milton enjoyed gardening, going to races, spending time with his grandchildren and family get-togethers.

Survivors include two children, Scott (Deb) Miller of Goshen, IN, Sheila (Greg) Andrea of Flagstaff, AZ, six grandchildren, Megan and Matthew Miller, Kyle Borkholder, and Logan, Blake and Molly Andrea, six siblings, Owen (Ruby) Miller of Oxford, IA, Anna (Charles) Peiffer of Washington, IA, Alma Hershberger of Kalona, Iowa, Charles "Chip" (Karen) Miller of Iowa City, Sally (John L.) Hershberger of Kalona, IA, and Marilyn (Derald) Bender of Kalona, IA.

Preceding Milton in death were his parents, two brothers, Henry and Robert Miller, one sister in law, Ella Miller, one brother in law, John D. Hershberger and one nephew, Delwyn Hershberger.
