Milan Cedric Roth, 47 of Wayland died unexpectedly, Saturday, August 28, 2004 at the Henry County Health Center in Mount Pleasant.
Funeral Services have been set for 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, August 31, 2004 at the Sugar Creek Mennonite Church south of Wayland with Pastor Nathan Luitjens officiating. Burial will be in the Sugar Creek Mennonite Cemetery . Visitation will begin at Noon Monday at the Church with family receiving friends from 5-8:00 P.M. Memorials in the name of Milan Roth have been designated to his children. Beatty Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
Milan was born February 16, 1957 in Mount Pleasant, Iowa the son of Allen and Evelyn (Nebel) Roth. He graduated from WACO in 1975 and attended William Penn on a football scholarship. Milan was united in marriage to Linda Hauenstein, October 5, 1984 at the Little Brown Church at Nashua.
Milan was a member of Sugar Creek Mennonite Church and owned Milan Roth Trucking. He was an avid golfer, Hawkeye fan and WACO booster. He treasured his time with family and friends.
Survivors include his wife Linda of Wayland, children Chayse and Keisha at home; brother Rulon “Rudy” Roth and wife Deb of Wayland; sisters, Melanie Stutzman and husband Dan of Wayland and Dorothy Gardner and husband Keith of Burlington.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Special Music was by Annette Boshart VonTersch, Ardel Kleiwer, Randy Roth and Merlin Boshart. Kathy Roth played organ and Lori Graber Piano. Pallbearers where John Sybil, Joe Alliman, Sheldon Miller, Bill Graf, Dan Gardner, Terry Farmer, Jerry Turner and Melvin Stauffer. Honorary bearers where the Wayland Rescue Squad.
