Marni Sue “Sue” (Swartzendruber) Ross, 75, of Casa Grande, Arizona, died Tuesday, March 22, 2022. Her body has been cremated and no services are planned at this time.
Sue was born November 4, 1946, in Kalona, Iowa the daughter of Gail and Virginia (Snyder) Swartzendruber. She attended Mid-Prairie High School. On September 11, 1999, she was united in marriage to Paul Ross in Casa Grande, Arizona. Sue enjoyed baking wedding cakes, organizing Christmas dinners for the homeless and shut-ins and was an avid Hawkeyes fan.
Survivors include her husband Paul of Casa Grande; four children: Brenda Miller (John Grey) of Anaheim, California, Rodney Miller of Tucson, Arizona, Bryan (Kimberly) Dean of Lakehills, Texas, Mike Dean (Debra Slider) of Lancaster, Pennsylvania; seven grandchildren; six siblings: Linda Miller of Guernsey, Iowa, Randy (Joyce) Swartzendruber of Kalona, Iowa, Bill (Salinda) Swartzendruber of Bellevue, Nebraska, Dave (Deb) Swartzendruber of Riverside, Iowa, Patty Swartzendruber of Iowa City, Iowa, Kevin (Carol) Swartzendruber of Kalona, Iowa, several nieces and nephews, and her little dog Molly.
Preceding Sue in death were her parents, a brother-in-law Roman Miller and a niece Stephanie Swartzendruber.
