She attended rural schools. Marie and Paul Ruth were married in St. Mary's Catholic Church on February 1, 1944. Marie was a homemaker who enjoyed life very much. She was a member of St. Mary's Church. She worked for 12 years at the Mid-Prairie School as a cook. Playing cards with her friends brought her endless hours of pleasure. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light in her life. She loved to travel and made many trips to spend time with her Colorado family. Marie is survived by two sons and their wives, Ron and Linda Ruth of Riverside and Terry and Karen Ruth of Broomfield, CO. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Jeff Ruth and wife Debbie, Mark Ruth, Krista and husband Rob Tengler, John and Valerie Ruth and Joe Ruth, ten great grandchildren, Jeff and Debbie's children, Kelsey, Brennan, Madeline and Adrian, Mark's daughter, Alex, Krista and Rob's sons, Matthew and Greg, John and Valerie's children, Ethan and Jaelynn, Joe's sons, Max and Perrin. One sister Lavina Wollrab of Ainsworth also survives. Marie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Paul (July 31, 1983), daughter-in-law, Barb Ruth, brothers, Ardell, Melvin, Bernard and Raymond and sisters, Evelyn Kasper, Irene Kessler, Mildred Benjamin, Velma Havel, Delores Kron and Viola Seelman. A memorial in Marie's honor has been established for St. Mary's Church or St. Vincent's Cemetery. Marie's family sincerely appreciates the many acts of kindness given them at this time of their loss. You will be remembered with love.
