La Visitación será el Lunes, Diciembre 22, 2014 de las 5--‐7 PM en la Iglesia Torre Fuerte (First Mennonite Church) en Iowa City. Un fondo memorial general se a establecido. María D. 2014 es el Hospital de la Universidad de Iowa.

María De La Cruz Enríquez nació el 2 de Mayo, 1942 en el estado de Durango, México, hija de Hipólito y Teresa (Orta) Enríquez. Se unió en el matrimonio a Jose Murillo en el estado de Durango, México en 1960. María fue miembra de la Iglesia Menonita Torre Fuerte. Le encantaba la natación, Cocinar, Coser prendas, y pasar su tiempo con su familia. Le gustaba ir a caminar y conocer a nuevas personas. Nunca conocía que era un desconocido y hacia amigos muy fácil.

Sobrevivientes incluyen su esposo José de Iowa City, Ocho hijos: Mari Hernández, Máximo Murillo, Román Murillo, Paola Martínez, Vanessa Murillo, Tino Murillo, Lorenzo Murillo, y Carlos Murillo, 18 nietos, 10 bisnietos, dos
hermanos: Concepción y Fermín Enríquez y una hermana, Cristina Enríquez.

Anterior en muerte de María fueron sus papas, cuatro hermanos y una hermana.

A celebration of life for Maria D. Enriquez, 72, of Iowa City, will be held Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Torre Fuerte (First)  Mennonite Church in Iowa City.  Burial will follow at the Lower Deer Creek Cemetery in rural Kalona. Visitation will be held Monday, December 22 from 5 – 7PM at the Torre Fuerte Mennonite Church in Iowa City.  A general memorial fund has been established.  Maria D. Enriquez died Thursday, December 18 at the University of Iowa Hospital.

Maria De La Cruz Enriquez was born May 2, 1942 in Durango, Mexico, the daughter of Hipolito and Teresa (Orta) Enriquez.  She was united in marriage to Jose Murrillo in Durango, Mexico in 1960.  Maria was a member of the Torre Fuerte Mennonite Church.  She enjoyed swimming, cooking, sewing doilies, spending time with her family and her church family. She enjoyed going for walks and meeting new people.  Maria never knew a stranger and made friends easily.

Survivors include her husband Jose of Iowa City, eight children: Mari Hernandez, Maximo Murrillo, Roman Murrillo, Paola Martinez, Vanessa Murrillo, Tino Murrillo, Lorenzo Murrillo and Carlos Murrillo, 18 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, two brothers: Conseption and Fermin Enriquez and one sister, Cristina Enriquez.

Preceding Maria in death were her parents, four brothers and one sister.
