Margaret “Marg” Rose Hjelmstad, 80, of Manchester, PA, passed from this life on November 17, 2024, at her home. Her body has been cremated. The Diehl Funeral Home in Mt. Wolf, PA assisted the family locally and the Beatty Peterseim Funeral Home assisted the family in Iowa.

Marg was born October 15, 1944, in Iowa City, IA, the daughter of Milton Jay and Darlene Charlotte (Miller) Winborn. She graduated from Iowa Mennonite High school in 1963 and attended Hesston College. In June of 1965, she was united in marriage to Jon Hjelmstad at the Sharon Center Ecumenical United Brethren Church. Marg was a commercial artist and enjoyed designing and selling artwork and rubber stamp designs.

Preceding Marg in death were her parents, her husband, her brother Ralph Moberly and sister Mae Arceneaux.

Survivors include her son Michael Hjelmstad, one grandson Jamie Hjelmstad, and two brothers: Jon (Mary Jo) Winborn, Bob (Dorothea) Moberly.
