Lillian Lucille Hutson, 94, of Mt. Pleasant, died Monday, July 14, 2003 at the Pleasant Manor Care Center in Mt. Pleasant.
Funeral Services have been set for 11:00 A.M. Thursday, July 17, 2003 at the Beatty Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. Burial will be in the Forest Home Cemetery. Family visitation will be two hours prior to the Funeral Service at the Funeral Home. A general memorial in the name of Lillian Lucille Hutson has been established.
Lucille was born March 7, 1909 in Rutledge, Missouri the daughter of Homer and Nellie (Salle) Johnston. On May 1, 1926 she was united in marriage to Leonard Hutson in Missouri.
She was employed with Statts Ribbon Factory for over forty years and retired from there. She greatly enjoyed gardening and her flowers and quilts. She was known as the flower lady on Jackson Street.
Survivors include two sons, Orville Hutson and wife Becky of Smithton, Missouri and Cecil “Duke” Hutson of Mountain Home, Arkansas; two sisters, Naomi Chandler of Hillsdale, Illinois and Dorothy Bittinghouse of Lebanon, Missouri; six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Nellie Coleman, brothers and sisters.
