Larry LeRoy Reschly, 55 of Washington, died Thursday, January 27, 2005 at his home in Washington.
Funeral Services have been set for 1:30 P.M. Tuesday, February 1, 2005 at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington with Pastor Grant Nebel officiating. Burial will be in the Elm Grove Cemetery. Visitation will begin at Noon Monday with family present from 6-8:00 in the evening. Memorials in the name of Larry Reschly may be designated to the American Diabetes Association.
Larry was born March 25, 1949 in Washington, IA the son of Willard Leroy and Leona May (Dusenbery) Reschly. He graduated from Washington High School and was united in marriage to Mary Jan Stockstell, June 21, 1975 in Washington, IA. They later divorced.
Larry was employed at Crane Valve, twenty-seven years at the McCleery Cumming factory and most recently at Kalona Plastics. He enjoyed sprint car racing, stock car racing and his cat tiger.
Survivors include his parents of Washington, two sons Tim and Terry Reschly, both of Washington; two brothers, Lonnie Reschly and wife Teresa of Indianola, IA and Terry Reschly of Pekin, IL; sister Linda Simmons and husband William of Washington.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and infant brother Ronnie.
