Lane Kurt Carter, nine month old infant of rural Trenton, died Sunday, October 8, 2006 at the Henry County Health Center in Mt. Pleasant.
Funeral Services have been set for 2:30 PM Wednesday, October 11, 2006 at the Trenton United Methodist Church with Pastor Jeffrey McPheron officiating. Burial will be in the White Oak Cemetery. Visitation will begin at Noon Tuesday at the Beatty Funeral Home in Wayland with family receiving friends from 6-8:00 P.M. Memorials in the name of Lane Kurt Carter may be designated to RSV and SIDS research.
Lane was born January 6, 2006 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa the son of Ki-lea Hyun-Hee (Krabill) and Wade Warren Carter.
Survivors include his parents of rural Trenton, sisters Olivia Jo and Mica Marie; material grandparents, Larry and Ann Krabill of Mt. Pleasant and paternal grandparents Dale and Tina Carter of Lead, South Dakota; paternal great-grandparents Mark and Myrna Carter of Cedar Rapids and Keith and Lorraine Kent of Florida; many cousins and great aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Emerson and Alta Krabill and Dennis and Arlene Klopfenstein.
