June Ann Shull, 84 of Mt. Pleasant, died Monday, December 20, 2004 at the Nelson Nursing Home in Fairfield following declining health.
Funeral Services have been set for 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 22, 2004 at the Beatty Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Pastor Don Coffin officiating. Burial will be in the Forest Home Cemetery. Open visitation will be Noon till 6:00 P.M. Tuesday with family receiving friends two hours prior to the service on Wednesday. Memorials in the name of June Ann Shull may be designated to the Mt. Pleasant Senior Center.
June was born May 31, 1920 in Henry County the daughter of Howard and Garnett (Whittlesey) Miller. She graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School. On April 12, 1940 she was united in marriage to Glen A. Shull at the Methodist Parsonage in Mt. Pleasant.
June was a member of the Congregational-Universalist Church in Mt. Pleasant. She was a homemaker and following the death of her husband was employed at the County Home and Maple Leaf Health Care Center until retirement. She enjoyed traveling, touring the country and crossword puzzles.
Survivors include three sons Terry Shull and wife Linda of Mt. Pleasant, Greg Shull and wife Rita of Mt. Pleasant and Jack Shull and Cindy of Decatur, IL; two brothers Howard Miller Jr. and wife Wanda of Des Moines, IA and Richard Miller of Ottumwa, IA; two sisters, Ethel McDowell and husband Dick of Mt. Pleasant and Ruth Kingos of Las Vegas, NV; seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Glen, March 10, 1971, son Sonny, December 12, 1960, four sisters, Alice, Isabel, Violet and Esther.
