Judy Ann Wolfe, 81 of Washington, formally of Knoxville, IA, died Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at Halcyon House in Washington.
Her body has been cremated and services will be later in Knoxville. Beatty-Peterseim Funeral Home is assisting with local care of Judy. Memorials may be designated to Hospice Compassus or Community of Christ Church.
Judy was born September 18, 1942, in Iowa City, Iowa the daughter of Floyd and Mildred (Wallace) Goemaat. She graduated from Pleasantville High School in 1961 and was united in marriage to David Carrol Wolfe, April 21, 1962, in Knoxville.
Judy owned and operated Wolfe Maytag in Knoxville along with her husband, she was also employed at Alco, Kum and Go and the Pella Regional Healthcare. She also sold AVON products. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and teaching sewing to young people.
Survivors include her children, Laura (Terry) Craig of Washington and Kelly Wolfe of Knoxville; sister Geraldine Hall of Pleasantville, IA; grandchildren, Devin (Emily) Wolfe, Millie and Emma Craig.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Floyd Jr. and Douglas and sister Patricia Tillie.
