Jessie M. Miller, 91 of Washington, died Friday, April 20, 2007 at the McCreedy Home following declining health.
Graveside Services will be held 4:00 PM Thursday, May 3, 2007 at the Hope Lutheran Cemetery near Germanville. Her body has been cremated. Beatty Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. A general memorial in the name of Jessie M. Miller has been established.
Jessie was born October 4, 1915 near Washington, Iowa the daughter of Peter and Mary Alice (Messer) Rich. She was united in marriage to Raymond Barnes and later married to Joseph Miller.
She was employed by the American Pearl Button factory in Washington for several years, enjoyed crossword puzzles and fishing.
Survivors include her son Larry Barnes and wife Mercedita of Washington; sister Grace Verelle of Pennsylvania and two granddaughters Marykay and Stephanie, both of Washington.
She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, four brothers and four sisters.
