Jason Lee Goodwin, age 25, of Washington, died Saturday, November 1, 2008 as the result of injuries suffered in a car accident.
A Celebration of Life is planned for Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at 7:30PM at the First Assembly of God Church in Washington, with Pastor Jim Cluney officiating. A private burial will be held on Thursday, Nov. 6.Visitation will be from noon -7PM on Wednesday at the Church, where the family will greet friends from 4-7 in the evening. Beatty Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. A general memorial fund has been established.
Jason was born on July 31, 1983 in Washington, Iowa the son of Rick and Sheila (Olive) Goodwin. He graduated from Washington High School in 2002 and was employed with Goodwin House Moving.
Survivors include his fiance’, Amy Stout of Washington, parents, Rick and Sheila Goodwin of Washington, siblings, Tanya Reighard and her husband Chris of Washington, Jeremy and his wife Jennilee Goodwin of Ketteirng, OH, Kara Goodwin of Washington, eight nieces and nephews, Jake, Matt, Samantha, Justus and Colben Reighard, Elayna, Annalise, Abigail Goodwin, his grandparents, and a number of aunts and uncles.
Preceding Jason in death were his great grandparents
