Jacob L. Stauffer, age 3 of Wayland, Iowa died Thursday, October 30, 2003 as the results of a car accident.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 Monday, November 3, 2003 at the St. James Catholic Church in Washington with Rev. Fr. Ed O’Melia and Rev. Dennis Kuhns officiating. Burial will be in the Wayland Cemetery. Visitation will be Noon till 6:00 P.M. Sunday at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington with family receiving friends from 2-4:00 P.M. A Vigil Prayer Service with be held at 4:00 P.M. Sunday at the Funeral Home. A Memorial in the name of Jacob Stauffer has been established.
Jacob was born June 26, 2000 in Mount Pleasant, Iowa the son of Graig and Lisa (Campbell) Stauffer.
Survivors include his parents of Wayland; grandparents, John and Rachel Stauffer of Wayland and Ron and Deb Campbell of Wayland; great-grandparents Ruth Stauffer of Wayland, Lucille Campbell of Wayland, Virginia Langford of Texas and Robert Briggs of Oregon.
He was preceded in death by his great grandparents John Stauffer, Author Campbell, Maynard Whaley and Mary Whaley.
