Harriet Hazel Lundin, 85, Washington, formally of Belvidere, IL died Sunday evening, November 10, 2002 at the McCreedy Home in Washington after declining health.
Family Graveside Services will be held at a later date at the Columbus City Cemetery with Rev. James Cluney officiating. A General Memorial has been established in the name of Harriet Lundin. Beatty Funeral Home in Washington is assisting the family.
Harriet was born August 2, 1917 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Harry Hatch and Anna Mathilda (Swanson) Slenger. On January 16, 1937 she was united in marriage to Harry Hugo Lundin in Chicago, he preceded her in death in June 2000.
Mrs. Lundin was a homemaker all her married life. She enjoyed cooking, baking Swedish cookies, crocheting, gardening and her pets.
Survivors include: son, Harry Edward Lundin and wife Annie of Sioux City, IA; two daughters, Donna Smith of Washington and Jackie Bower and husband Jimmie of Columbus Junction, IA; Eleven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, an infant sister, Dorothy and twin grandchildren Jeanne and Christopher.
