Harold Unternahrer

Harold Franklin Unternahrer, 83 of Wayland, died Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at his home.

His body has been cremated and no services are scheduled. Private burial will be at the Sugar Creek Mennonite Cemetery. Beatty-Peterseim Funeral, Cremation Care and Monument Service is assisting the family. Memorials may be designated to EveryStep Hospice of Mt. Pleasant.

Harold was born September 20, 1938 near Wayland, Iowa the son of Jacob and Mayme (Leichty) Unternahrer. He was united in marriage to Patricia Graber at the Sugar Creek Mennonite Church.

Survivors include three children, Carl (Jenny) Unternahrer, Shirley (Hai Hinh) Unternahrer and Chris (Deb) Unternahrer all of Wayland; three brothers; twelve grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brother and three sisters.
