Goldie Mae Nejedly was born April 1, 1911 near Wellman, Iowa in Iowa County.  She was the daughter of George and Stella (Walton) Groff. She attended rural schools.  She and Edward Nejedly were married in Davenport, Iowa.

Goldie was a very kind loving mother to her only son Cecil Nejedly.  She had a sweet innocent heart.

She lived on the family farm until moving to Pleasantview Home a number of years ago.

Goldie is survived by her son Cecil and his special friend, Vicki Latzer and one sister, Dorothy Fickling of West Chester.

Preceding Goldie in death were her husband, Edward in 1989 and one brother Warren Groff.

Goldie's family is very grateful for the kindnesses given them and Goldie during her time at Pleasantview Home and now at her death.  You are all appreciated very much.
