Gladys (Gray) Allard

Gladys M. (Gray) Allard, 85, formally of Washington, died Saturday June 8, 2019 in North Liberty. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 2:00 PM, at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington, with James Cluney officiating. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior. A general memorial fund has been established.

Gladys was born March 21, 1934 in Washington, IA, the daughter of Edwin and Sadie (Peterson) Malmberg. Gladys graduated from Washington High School in 1952. She was united in marriage to Kelly Allard in April of 1985. She worked at the Telephone Co. and later worked at Iowa Southern Utilities for many years until retiring.

Survivors include her husband Kelly Allard of North Liberty, daughter Susan Diane Henning of North Liberty , sister; Ramona Newkirk, Plano IL, brothers; Leonard (Clarissa) Malmberg of Crawfordsville and Glen (Mary) Malmberg of Riverside, 4 grandchildren; Austin Henning of North Liberty, Adam and Shaena Roth of Colorado, Stacy Roth of West Branch, 4 great-grandchildren; Reighan, Jazmyne, Aaliyah and Finnly.

Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, and daughter Brenda Roth.
