He was united in marriage to Malka Ashtamker in March of 1989 in California. Gary was a long time employee of Tiffany's and Co. He loved to travel, especially with his son Danny.
Survivors include his wife Malka and one son, Danny Clement of Sherman Oaks, California, his mother, Adaline Mull of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, a sister, Deb Hubbell of Kalona, Iowa, a brother, Ryan Mathison of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, in laws: Rachel, Menashe, Rafael (Sandra) and eight nieces and nephews: Bryon, Amanda, Carly, Sharon, Ariel, Sandra, Kathy and Rafael, Jr.
Preceding Gary in death was his father, and a brother in law, Uriel Stone.
