Florence Janspering, Junior

Florence H. Jaspering, Junior 79 of Washington, died Monday, May 27, 2013 at his home.

A memorial service will be 2:00 PM Friday, May 31, 2013 at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington. Family will recieve friends from Noon until service time at the funeral home. His body has been cremated and inurnment will be at a later date in the Elm Grove Cemetery. A general memorial in the name of F. H. Jaspering, Junior has been established.

Junior was born July 24, 1933 in Warrenton, Mo, the son of Florence Herman Sr. and Clarabelle (White) Jaspering. He was the youngest of nine children, and attended school in Jonesburg, Mo.

He was united in marriage to Anna Daymon on January 1, 1956 in Rosiclare, IL. He learned to run heavy equipment while serving with the Army in the Korean War. He was employed by several construction companies through his working years.

He is survived by his wife Anna of Washington, children, Steve A. Jaspering, Bonnie Potter, Connie Sedlacek and Karl Jaspering all of Washington; ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; sisters Violet Van Bibber, Warrenton, Mo, Gladys Hintz, Wright City, Mo, Gertrude Mc Allister, Salem, Mo and brother Melvin Jaspering of Washington, Ia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Floyd Baunman, Helen Palmer and brothers Walter, Forest and Elmer; nephews Delmar and Tony Jaspering and Walter Baunman.
