A celebration of life for Fanny C. Miller, 82 of Kalona will be held Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 10:00 AM at the Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona with Chaplain Carroll Yoder officiating. Burial of the cremains will follow at the Sharon Hill Cemetery in Kalona. Visitation will be held Friday, September 6, 2013 from 2-4 and 5-7PM at the Peterseim Funeral Home. A general memorial fund has been established. Fanny Miller died Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at Parkview Manor in Wellman. The body has been cremated.
Fanny C. Miller was born October 4, 1930 in Yoder, Kansas, the daughter of Clarence and Mary (Mullet) Miller. She was a Licensed Vocational Nurse and worked in several children's homes, taking care of countless boys over the years. She enjoyed woodworking, camping, traveling and her dogs. She will be remembered for her kindness and love of life and family.
Survivors include three siblings; Albert C. Miller of Bloomington, New Mexico, Mamie Nisly of Kalona, Ezra M. and wife Norma of Kalona, and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding Fanny in death were her parents, one sister and brother in law; Clara (Jonathan A.)Yoder, three brothers; Noah, Enos and Clarence Miller, Jr., one brother in law; Reuben Nisly and a sister in law; Mary Miller.
