Francis Eleanor Mehaffy was born in Des Moines, Iowa on June 15, 1924 and died October 13, 2010. Eleanor married John Mehaffy on June 2, 1948. She was a loving wife and mother and lived many years in the Morning Sun, Iowa community. In 1972 she became affiliated with the Living Word through the ministry of John Robert Stevens. In 1995 John and Eleanor retired and moved to Kalona, Iowa. They have four children. Karl Mehaffy deceased; Mary Hughes of Kalona, Iowa; Mark Mehaffy of Kansas City, MO; and Ellen Johnston of North Hills, CA. She has seven grandchildren and almost seven great grandchildren
