Edna Elmira Hemm, 36 of Mt. Pleasant died unexpectedly Monday, December 29, 2003 at the Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.
Funeral Services have been set for 10:00 A.M. Friday, January 2, 2003 at the Beatty Funeral Home in Mt Pleasant with Rev. Phil Campbell officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will begin at Noon Thursday at the Beatty Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with family receiving friends from 6-8:00 P.M. in the evening. Memorials in the name of Edna Hemm have been established to her family.
Edna was born May 18, 1967 in Fairfield, Iowa the daughter of Darrell and Sharon (Sammons) Hemm. She graduated from Fairfield High School in 1986 and from Indian Hills College in Ottumwa.
She was employed with Hon Industries and RSJ Transportation for 11 years and most recently Pargon Products a Division of Lomont Molding in Mt. Pleasant. She enjoyed crocheting, scrap booking and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include her mother Sharen Hemm of Mt. Pleasant, father, Darrell Hemm and wife Mary of Birmingham, IA; special nephew Rodney Griglione and niece Chelsea Griglione, both of Mt. Pleasant; brothers, Jerry Hemm of Birmingham, IA, Joe Hemm and wife Terrie of Batavia, IA, Jason McIntire of Stockport and brother in law Rich Griglione and wife Joni of Des Moines, IA; sisters Susan Griglione of Mt. Pleasant, IA and Debbie Aspgren and husband Jon of Arlington, CO; six nephews and four nieces.
She was preceded in death by her Paternal and Maternal Grandparents, brother-in-law Rodney Griglione
