Earl Beachy

Funeral services for Earl Jason Beachy, 91, of Kalona will be Monday, July 23, 2012 at 9:00.  Services will be at the Sanford Miller home, 1060 Orange Ave., Kalona.  Burial will be in the Peter Miller Cemetery rural Kalona.  Minister in charge is Cephas Miller.

Visitation will begin Saturday, July 21 at 1:30 PM and continue Sunday at the Miller home.

Earl Jason Beachy was born October 30, 1920 in Kalona, Iowa, the son of Annanias J. and Ella (Shetler) Beachy.  He was member of the Old Order Amish Church.  On December 6, 1945 he was united in marriage to Mary Bender.  Mary passed away May 26, 2008.

Earl is survived by three children, Emery Lewis(Sadie) Beachy of Hardin, MO, Judy Mae (Norman) Kauffman of Smyrna, ME and Morris at home.  Also surviving are 48 grandchildren and 73 great grandchildren, sons-inlaw; Alvin ( Lorena ) Miller of Mannsviller, N.Y. and Sanford Miller of Kalona, IA; daughter-n-law Fannie (Arthur) Beiler of Paradise, PA; two brothers, Joe Beachy of Kalona, IA, and Jesse Beachy of Gladys, VA, three sisters; Fannie Jane Miller of Sarasota, FL, Mary (David L. ) Miller and Eshter Zook of Kalona, IA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Mary and one son, Eldon Lynn (Fannie), two daughters,; Ella Irene (Alvin ) and Sylvia Jane (Sanford); three grandchildren and two great grandchildren; four brothers, Ray, Glen, John and Jonas.
