Dwight Alan Englund, 70 of Washington, died Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at his home. A celebration of his life will be 1-4:00 PM, Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Washington First Assembly in Washington.  Memorials may be sent to Janet Ketelsen at PO Box 383, Washington, Iowa 52353 to assist with expenses. The Beatty Peterseim Funeral Home is assisting the family. 

Dwight was born March 20, 1954, in Sterling, Illinois, the son of Kenneth Bert and Esther Alice (Brockway) Englund. He graduated from Kingman High School in Kingman, Arizona. He served his country in the United States Marine Corp. Dwight attended Clown College (camp) in Lacrosse, Wisconsin. He was BilBo T. Clown, professional clown for 30 years, traveling the Midwest and attending clown conventions across the United States. Dwight loved competing in World Clown Association competition and judging it as well. He taught clown classes and was a member of the Quad Cities Clown Troupe. He also worked as a magician. Dwight was an avid PC gamer and enjoyed studying the Bible. He was affectionately known as “Dragon” by his grandchildren. 

Survivors include his significant other, Janet Ketelsen of Washington; three children: Kenneth (Miranda) Englund of Clinton, Iowa, Katrina (Atticus) Milhouse of Davenport, Iowa, Vincent Tate of Clinton, Iowa; seven grandchildren and one great-grandson. 

Preceding Dwight in death were his parents, his sister Mona, his brother Kenneth, and his grandson Raiden.
