Donna Frost

Funeral Services have been set for 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, December 21, 2004 at the Beatty Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with the Pastor Matt Barret officiating. Burial will be in the Forest Home Cemetery. Visitation will begin at Noon Monday at the Funeral Home with the family present from 6-8:00 P.M. A Memorial in the name of Donna Lee Frost has been established at the Funeral Home.

Donna was born August 23, 1941 in Burlington, Iowa the daughter of Lee Ola and Lilly Eunice (Spencer) Knifong She was united in marriage to Larry Frost, December 18, 1992 in Weslaco, TX.

She attended Faith Christian Outreach Church and for sixteen years was employed at the Mason City Police Department Traffic Division. She was also a homemaker and very active in volunteering throughout the community. Donna enjoyed flowers, cooking, antiques, yard sales and was the pillar of strength to her family.

Survivors include her husband Larry of Mt. Pleasant; her mother Lilly of Mt. Pleasant; two children Ricky Edward Anderson and wife Christy of Mt. Pleasant and Angela Christine Seltun and husband Lance of Overland Park, KS; brother David “Dude” Knifong of Mt. Pleasant; sisters Shirley Jean Jones and husband Robert of Lake of the Ozarks, MO, Mary Lou Detrick and husband Larry of Mt. Pleasant and Patricia Johnson and husband Michael of Burlington, IA ; three grandchildren, Mitch, McKenna Lilly and Rilee Rose.

She was preceded in death by her father, brother Quinn, sister Linda and grandson Drake.
