Donald Phillips

Memorial services for Donald L. “Donnie” Phillips, 85, of Washington will be held Monday, August 24 at 4PM at the Beatty Funeral Home, Washington, with Pastor Gene Carpenter officiating. The body has been cremated and burial will be held at a later date. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 3-4PM at the funeral home. Donald Phillips died Wednesday, August 19, at the Washington County Hospital, from injuries resulting from a fall. A memorial fund has been established for

Donald Leroy Phillips was born on September 19, 1923 in Washington, Iowa, the son of Lloyd B. and Edna May (Fouchek) Phillips. He lived at Orchard Hill from 1977 until moving to the Washington Care Center.
Survivors include one step brother, Bill and wife Carolynn Guenther of Washington, one step sister, Phyllis Molkenthin of Ollie, Iowa and a number of cousins.

Preceding Donnie in death were his parents and one step sister, Maxine Zieglowsky.
