Dolores Hardy

Funeral Services for Dolores M. Hardy, 90 of Wellman, formerly of Riverside will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at the Peterseim Funeral Home with Maurie Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Iowa City. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home. Memorials may be designated to Iowa City Hospice.

Dolores M. Hardy died Friday, May 11, 2018 at Parkview of Wellman.

Dolores was born August 16, 1927 in Viernheim, Germany, the daughter of Heinrich and Margaret (Bugert) Gaertner. She was united in marriage to Howard E, Hardy March 12, 1955 in Germany.

She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the VFW Woman's Auxillary. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, and baking.

Survivors include her daughter-in-law and caregiver LeAnn Boes of Riverside; brother Horst Gaertner, sisters Karin Link and Berlind Brinkman, all of Germany.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband, Son Howard, daughter Carmen and brother Harald.
