Dennis Lloyd Boshart, 91 of Goshen, IN, formerly of the Wayland area, died Wednesday, March 12, 2008 in Goshen, Indiana.
Funeral Services have been set for 2:00 PM Sunday, March 16, 2008 at the Sugar Creek Mennonite Church with Pastor Nathan Luitjens officiating. Burial will be in the Sugar Creek Cemetery. Beatty Funeral Home in Wayland is assisting with arrangements. Visitation will begin at Noon Saturday at the Sugar Creek Mennonite Church with family receiving friends from 5:30-8:00 PM. A memorial in the name of Dennis Boshart has been established to the Sugar Creek Mennonite Church or the Sugar Creek Cemetery Fund.
Mr. Boshart was born February 18, 1917 in Wayland, Iowa the son of Elmer T. and Martha (Nebel) Boshart. He was united in marriage to Esther Wagler on September 21, 941.
He was a faithful member of the Sugar Creek Mennonite Church and served in various positions. He was a livestock, turkey and grain farmer and enjoyed woodworking, reading the Bible and the game of dominoes.
Survivors include his wife Esther of Goshen, sons, Wesley Boshart and wife Carol of Eureka, MO, Ronald Boshart and wife Elizabeth of Centennial, CO, Rodney Boshart and wife Mary of West Des Moines, IA; daughter Peggy Milton and husband Ricardo of Goshen, IN; eleven grandchildren Quinci Herholz, Alisa Tajelmelon, Kimberly Mahoney, Jonathan Boshart, Shannon, Wyatt, Aaron and Christian Boshart, Kristen Milton Watt, Jassica Brinson and Bethany Wait and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Clair, Elon, Alvin and Dillon; sister Grace Roth; infant son Dean Ledru and daughter Berdene Boshart.
