Delmer Lee Rhodebeck, 80 formally of the Keota and Washington area, died Sunday, January 2, 2011 at the Alhambra Care Center in Alhambra, IL.
Funeral Services have been set for 11:00 AM Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Beatty Funeral Home in Washington with Bob Preston officiating. Burial will be in the Keota Cemetery. Family will receive friends 2 hours prior to the service on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to your local church or favorite charity.
Delmer was born November 19, 1930 in Keota, Iowa to Harold Evert and Ethel Marie (nee Forney) Rhodebeck. He graduated from Keota High School in 1948 and the Midwest School of Evangelism in Ottumwa. He was united in marriage to Thelma Louise (nee Schafer) on November 14, 1948, in Fairfield, Iowa.
Delmer is survived by his sons Duane (Liz) of Pewaukee, Wis. and Dennis (Priscilla) of Granite City, Ill. He is also survived by grandchildren Chad, Shaun, Kimberly, Melinda and Aaron, one great-grandchild, and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, his brother John, and sister Marilyn Williams.
