Daniel Sleichter

Graveside services: Friday, June 20, 2:00 PM at the South Sharon (Grout) Cemetery rural Riverside. Daniel B. Sleichter (87) was born November 14, 1920 near Riverside, Iowa. He was the son of Ralph and Erma Flynn Sleichter. He attended Kalona High School. Daniel entered the US Army in 1955. He was stationed in France and Austia. Daniel was a farmer and factory laborer. He is survived by three sisters, Edith and husband Phil Morehead of Marion, Norma and Earl Fry and Dora Kallaus both of Kalona and a sister-in-law Jo Sleichter of Iowa City. Special friends that survive are Judy Skille and Loren Habagger. Preceding Daniel in death were his parents, three brothers Vern, Carroll and Richard Sleichter and a sister Dortha Chapek. Memorial may be directed to the South Sharon (Grout) Cemetery.
