Celesta (Lambright) Mast died September 25, 2010 at the home of her daughter Fannie Miller. She was born June 15, 1918 in Topeka, IN, the daughter of Joseph and Barbara (Hochstetler) Lambright. Celesta was united in marriage to Jacob M. Mast on December 21, 1939 in Topeka, IN. They lived in Ligonier, IN most of their married life and spent the last 21 years in Iowa. She was a member of the Fairview Mennonite Church. Celesta enjoyed playing table games and marking quilts, helping her daughters and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include two daughters, Viola and husband Daryl Slabaugh of Iowa City, Fannie and husband Ronnie Miller of Kalona, six grandsons, Stacy, Troy and Ryan Miller, Mark, Carroll and Francis Slabaugh, nine great grandchildren, Blake, Brody and Bricen Miller, Grael and Lorelei Miller, Haley, Moria, Paige and Monte Slabaugh, three sisters, Lydia Mae Miller, Sarah Yoder both of LaGrange, IN, and Katie Biggs of Bonita Springs, FL, one brothers, Ernest Lambright of Lilburn, GA, and one sister in law, Sue Lambright of Goshen, IN.
Preceding Celesta in death was her husband Jake in 2005, two children, Elmer and Rosie, two sisters, Alma Stambaugh and Susie Yoder and one brother, Levi Lambright.
A memorial fund for Hospice of Washington County or Fairview Mennonite Church has been established.
The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to everyone for the many acts of love and support shown to them during this time of loss.
