A Celebration of Life service for Camellia "Cammie" L. Yoder 61, of Kalona will be held Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at the High Point City Church, 4187 Landon Ave. SW, Iowa City, at 10:00AM. Burial will follow at the Sharon Hill Cemetery in Kalona. Visitation will be held Monday, September 13 from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona. A general memorial fund has been established. Cammie Yoder died Thursday, September 9 at the University of Iowa Hospital from injuries suffered in a car accident.

Cammie was born August 10, 1949 in Terre Haute, IN, the daughter of Charles Pickens and Esther Gardner. She was united in marriage to Leland Yoder in Indianapolis, IN on October 18, 1968. Cammie worked as a floral designer and event coordinator. She was a member of the High Point City Church and enjoyed scrapbooking, reading the Bible, spending time with her dogs, observing nature and spoiling her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband Leland of Kalona, three sons and spouses, Rick (Dana) Yoder of Eau Claire, WI, Brad (Laura) Yoder of Kelso, WA, Bryan (Angela) Yoder of Treynor, IA, one foster child, Kyle Hayes of Iowa City, IA, seven grandchildren, Ciera, Tyler and Tegan Yoder, Braden and Elianna Yoder, Cole and Aliyah Yoder, and a step father, Donald Hair of Rochester, IN.
