Beverly Libe

Beverly Libe, 73 of Washington, died Saturday, May 16, 2009 at the Mc Creedy Home in Washington. The body has been cremated. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 19 at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington from noon until 7PM with the family present from 5-7PM. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 20 at 11AM in the Elm Grove Cemetery with Father Paul Appel. A memorial fund has been established for Hospice of Washington County and St. James Catholic Church.
Beverly Lee (Wolfe) Libe was born on March 6, 1936 in Washington, IA the daughter of John Paul and Florence (Ricks) Wolfe. She was united in marriage to Don Libe on July 25, 1953 in Iowa City, IA. She was a member of the St. James Catholic Church. She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, cooking, dancing, reading and taking care of her family.
Survivors include her husband Don of Washington, four children, Vicky and husband Del Ginder of Mason City, IA., Steve Libe and special friend Diane Joy of Ainsworth, Lisa and husband Lynn Harvey of Washington, IA., Joni and husband Paul Davis of Marthasville, MO., and 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Also surviving is one brother, James Wolfe of Prescott Valley, AZ.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister in law, Mary Jo Wolfe.
