Anna Mae Rich, 69 of the Mount Pleasant died Tuesday, July 27, 2004 at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics in Iowa City.
Funeral Services have been set for 2:00 P.M. Friday, July 30, 2004 at the Trenton Missionary Church in Trenton with the Pastor Roy Nelson and Pastor Don Johanson officiating. Burial will be in the Green Mound Cemetery. Visitation will begin at Noon Thursday at the Beatty Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with the family present from 6-8:00 P.M. Memorials may be directed to the Green Mound Cemetery or the Fellowship Cup in Mount Pleasant

Anna was born July 7, 1935 in Trenton, Iowa the daughter of Lester and Alice (Hulme) Ross. She graduated from Wayland High School in 1953 and was united in marriage to Phillip Albert Rich, August 15, 1954 at the Wayland Methodist Church.
She was a faithful member of the Trenton Missionary Church since 1964. Anna and her husband volunteered with delivering books and meals. She received recognition from the governor for her volunteerism. She was a homemaker, cleaned homes, cooked at Pleasant Manor and retired after twenty years as a cook at the Senior Citizen’s Center. Anna was a spiritual person who enjoyed reading and playing cards.
Survivors include her husband Albert of Mt. Pleasant; two sons, Curtis Rich and friend Mindy of Mt. Pleasant and Phillip L. Rich and wife Kara of Chariton, IA; daughter, Teresa Mallams and husband John of Mt. Pleasant and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and infant sister.
