Anna G. Lowe, 73 of Coppock, died Thursday, December 19, 2002 at the Washington County Hospital in Washington.
Services have been set for 11:00 A.M. Monday, December 23, 2002 at the Cottonwood United Methodist Church west of Wayland, with the Rev. Kenneth Hartman officiating. Burial will be in the Cottonwood cemetery. Visitation will be from Noon till 6:00 P.M. Sunday at the Beatty Funeral Home in Wayland with family receiving friends from 2-4:00 P.M. in the afternoon. A general memorial has been established in the name of Anna G. Lowe.
Anna was born April 6, 1929 in Burlington, Iowa the daughter of Jake and Emma (Smith) Manning. She was united in marriage to Pete Lowe, June 4, 1965 in Brighton, Iowa.
Anna and her husband lived in Brighton after they were married and later moved to Coppock. She was a member of the Cottonwood United Methodist Church.
She enjoyed fishing, traveling, bingo, camping, craftwork, visiting the riverboats and attending church.
Survivors include her mother Emma Manning of Wayland; husband Pete Lowe of Coppock; two sons, James Arbogast and wife Candie of Coppock and Harold Arbogast and wife Teresa of Brighton; one daughter, Judy Teel and husband Dennis of Coppock; two brothers, Lyle Manning Sr. and wife Judy of Wayland and Everett Manning and wife Carol of Laquenta Niguel, CA; three sisters, Delores Sinn and husband Dwaine of Muscatine, IA, Carol Pain of Muscatine and Opal Wiggins of Trenton, Iowa; twelve grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father.
