Anita Carrillo, 82 of Washington, died Wednesday, March 19, 2003 at the Washington County Hospital.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 A.M. Saturday, March 22, 2003 at the St. James Catholic Church in Washington with Rev. Fr. Dennis Martin officiating. Burial will be in the Elm Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends from Noon till 9:00 P.M. Friday with a Rosary to be held at 7:30 P.M at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington. A general memorial has been established in the name of Anita Carrillo.
Anita was born October 18, 1920 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Faustino and Mercedes (Macias) Herrera. She was united in marriage to Jose Gonzalez in Chicago, IL.
She was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Washington. Anita worked in several factories in Chicago and also did housekeeping. She lived the last eight years in Washington. She enjoyed knitting, music and dancing.
Survivors include four daughters, Martha of Chicago, IL, Maria Rodriguez of Washington, Carmen Magana of California and Lupe Herrera of Washington; one sister, Mary Ornelas of Chicago, IL; fifteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 1991 two sons, Richard and Nick and daughter Jenny.
